Built for nobility during the 13th century, Tosen Goshobo is located in historic Arima, just outside of Kobe City, with views of Rokko Mountain.
EXPERIENCE
An historic property in an historic location. Established over 800 years ago, Tosen Goshobo is one of the oldest hot springs resorts in Japan.
There are only 12 rooms and 8 apartments at Tosen Goshobo, all decorated in the Japanese minimalist style, with tatami mats, fresh flowers, and traditional furnishings. Relax on your balcony and listen to the wind gently rustle the cherry trees. Bathe in fragrant cedar baths filled with reddish iron-rich water from the hot springs, or refresh yourself in the open-air pool. Feeling energetic? Head into vibrant Kobe for some shopping, sightseeing, and to tour a sake brewery.
In the evening, dine on Japanese delicacies in Tosen Goshobo's traditional dining room, decorated with Japanese antiques and wall hangings. The mouthwatering cuisine features world-renowned Kobe beef, of course.
LOCATION
Tosen Goshobo is approximately a two-hour drive from Kansai International Airport, and less than an hour from Osaka.
