On the shores of the tranquil Blue Lagoon in the heart of the beautiful, unspoiled remote Yasawa group of islands, Turtle Island, Fiji is famous for snorkeling and scuba diving. It has been chosen as the perfect tropical paradise location thus immortalizing the island's famous Blue Lagoon. Impossible as it is to accept that anything so luxurious and perfect can remain so unspoiled, Turtle Island confounds the skeptic.

Turtle Island has just 14 bures built along the edge of the pristine Blue Lagoon with immediate access to a powder white sand beach. Each bure is a hand crafted Fijian style Villa surrounded by lush tropical vegetation to maximize privacy of guests. Bures are 1500 square feet and each has traditional high vaulted thatched roofs, hardwood floors, louvered windows to catch the breeze and hand crafted timber furniture and fittings. The veranda features an outdoor shower, private fish pond and a queen size day bed for lazing in the sun flecked shade of the palm trees. Each bure also has a double hammock, deck chair, loungers and two personal watercrafts. All bures overlook the white sand beach of the famous Blue Lagoon.

Cuisine at Turtle Island is best described as Pacific Fresh. Lobsters and fresh fish are brought to the island each day by local fishermen. Turtle Island has a three acre organic vegetable garden which supplies most of the fruits and vegetables for the kitchen. Whilst there is a dining room and bar built alongside the beach, most meals can be enjoyed on the beach, with the sand between your toes. With eight spectacular private beaches used for picnics, guests have the opportunity to take their own picnic to a beach for the day and enjoy the stunning white sands and blue waters of Turtle Island on their own. In the evening, guests come together for a dinner party on the beach, with the table being set at 3 different locations around the Island during the week. During a guests stay, they have the opportunity to enjoy an intimate dinner for 2 at their bure, at the end of the dock, or on a floating pontoon in the middle of the Blue Lagoon.

The resort is located on the shores of the Blue Lagoon in the middle of the Yasawa Island Group, 50 miles N.W. of the main island Viti Levu. Access is by seaplane with a flying time of 30 minutes from Nadi seaplane base.
