Villa d’Este offers its guests 152 elegant rooms in two historical buildings, the Cardinal Building and the Queen’s Pavilion, including two Presidential Suites and the Cardinal Suite. Should you decide to enjoy the peace and independence of your own home taking advantage of the comforts of the Hotel you can experience the unique opportunity of renting one of the private Villas (the Villa Cima with 4 bedrooms or the Villa Malakoff with 4 bedrooms) inside the magnificent 25-acre park surrounding the hotel.
The Hotel park, with majestic and unique botanical species and its own Chef’s Garden, is an oasis filled with plants and sculptures, where you can find fresh herbs and spices used by the Executive Chef, Luciano Parolari, who is known as the “King of Risotto”, the signature dish of the hotel and the region.
Guests can choose to taste the delicious traditional cuisine at one of three Restaurants: the formal Verandah Restaurant, with its house specialities like risotto, home-made fresh pasta and fish, or the distinctively chic Grill Restaurant with its regional cuisine; all Restaurants boast outdoor terraces, overlooking the Lake and the magnificent classical gardens. In addition guests can experience the Non Solo Pasta restaurant – with an informal, charming ambiance it offers an Italian buffet of hors d’oeuvres, a variety of pasta dishes and a selection of desserts.
At Villa d’Este guests can enjoy comfort and relaxation beginning with its water and outdoor sport facilities: the unique heated outdoor pool that floats on Lake Como, an outdoor children’s pool, an indoor pool, 8 tennis courts (6 in clay), an indoor squash court, as well as a jogging track, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, and water skiing. Six 18-hole golf courses are nearby.
After a full day of activities Villa d’Este Beauty Center offers a large selection of relaxing options including massages, hydrotherapy and beauty treatments for face and body.

If traveling by train, the convenient Como San Giovanni Railway Station connects every hour to the Milan Railway Station. If traveling by car, follow the Highway A9 (Milan-Switzerland), exit “Como Nord” in the direction of Cernobbio and cross through the village, where the entrance Villa d’Este will be found just on the right-hand side of the road.
