Villa Mushara

Villa Mushara is situated a mere eight kilometers from the Von Lindequist gate of the world famous Etosha National Park, thus allowing the best of both worlds. The rugged harsh wilderness of Etosha combined with the exquisite accommodation of Villa Mushara offers a stark contrast, which has been depicted in the villas through the use of opposing textures. With individuality in mind, only two exclusive villas have been designed to create an ideal retreat from the stresses of modern day life, where an aura of tranquility and contemplation prevails.

Each villa has its own unique ambience, designed with in a classic style. Each fine detail has been considered within the confines of the living space and with a small private library in each villa. The outside area of the villas provide their own large terraces, private plunge pool, outside shower and thatched day beds in the gardens for sundowners or daytime relaxing while watching the game wander by at their own natural pace.

The main attraction of Mushara is its proximity to Etosha National Park with its diversity and abundance of wildlife. Etosha National Park is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, and 110 reptile species. The specially protected animals include black rhino, elephant, cheetah and black faced impala. The best results in viewing game are achieved when selecting a suitable waterhole and waiting for the animals to come to you. The result is often a theatrical drama unfolding in front of you, displaying master engineers of survival strategies and, at times, spectacular encounters between predator and prey.

Villa Mushara is located on the outskirts of Etosha National Park, one of Southern Africa’s finest and most important Game Reserves, which was declared a National Park in 1907. The park covers an area of 22,270 km² and is home to 114 mammal species, 340 bird species, 110 reptile species and 16 amphibian species.
