by Monika MarkovinovicAdele wrote “Hometown Glory” as an ode to London, the town she’s always lived in. Three bars, two restaurants, one destination—The Stratford is a unique East London property where there’s something for everyone when ready. There’s the Allegra with its spectacular sky terrace and delicious brioche doughnuts, an all-day dining Brasserie, plus the sunny, spacious outdoor Terrace. For those Londoners looking to flex their intellectual prowess, the glamourous Mezzanine is host to The Quiz. We’re looking forward to a night of trivia and comedy with friends—all with socially distanced tables and rounds of drinks.

On October 1, The Langham, London is set to welcome back guests to the birthplace of Afternoon Tea. In 1865, the “Grand Dame Hotel” was the first to serve Afternoon Tea after the Duchess of Bedford famously brought to light the tradition of an afternoon snack accompanied by bread and butter in between lunch and dinner. We can’t wait to gather together to sip on history here.
