For each tree cut down during construction, three native species were planted. The area is also home to five endangered sea turtle species, all under the close watch of Projecto Tamar, a globally recognized marine conversation program supported by the resort.

With a list of no-take species, this Six Senses property does not serve any fish protected under environmental law.
