Aura Suite, a quaint one bedroom located on one of our suite levels. The popular favorite will always be the Halo Penthouse, a suite like no other.

Although I personally drive a battery electric vehicle, our London-style Loden cabs are a treat to be whisked away in throughout downtown Vancouver. It brings back cheerful memories of the time I spent living and working on the Strand in London.

A

There are so many interesting handcrafted cocktails out there, it’s an enjoyable discovery whenever one is dining out, however one of my mainstays is the single malt Lagavulin.

As simple as Mushrooms on Toast—brioche—at Tableau Bar Bistro. It’s rich, velvety and pleasing to the senses. Vancouver has so many choices from so many cultural styles to enjoy.

A

Who turns away chocolate? Thomas Haas artisan chocolates, pastries and desserts. That’s why in Vancouver you keep active, so that you can enjoy all the culinary delights and dolce. The new Musette Caffe and the hospitality of Thomas Eleizegui, the perfect start or end of a Peloton cycle tour.

So many to choose from, however, rollerblading or biking the seawall along the Stanley Park perimeter is a great way to enjoy the fresh air, watch people or admire nature while being spied on by curious sea otters.

Cycling with gear and clips throughout greater Vancouver at a steady pace.

Q Outside the hotel lobby, what’s your hobby?
A

I enjoy lacing up my skates and gearing up to play competitive ice hockey as a center or winger, though the defensive position can be fun too.
