Grand dame The Savoy keeps things fresh and playful this holiday season by having Lego designers create creative holiday displays around the London hotel. Known as “The 12 Rebuilds of Christmas,” they include a dragon-shaped Christmas tree and a motorcycle fit for Santa, among others. Of course, there’s all kinds of festive dining options to dig into too.

Christmas lights reflecting off lovely Lake Wörthersee, which Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden overlooks, really ups the holiday ante. On weekends, the hotel has an Advent hut stocked with fruit cake and other festive treats. On select days through December, they offer candlelit fondue or goose dinners in the Schlossstern. Then, on December 7th, there’s a Christmas market which includes performances by the Villach church choir. You’ll feel like you’re in a Hallmark movie.

For a seventh year, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme transforms its terrace into a winter wonderland. This year’s iteration draws inspiration from the gold rush complete with a rustic chalet. Inside, there’s space for up to 12 guests and the prospect of collectively indulging in raclette. In the afternoons, there’s Christmas Tea Time complete with homemade hot cider.
