Despite its location in an 800-year-old medieval village, Il Castelfalfi was designed with a focus on innovative energy saving. The Tuscan hideaway’s biomass power plant provides green thermic energy for the heating and cooling of its buildings, which were sustainably built using local wood and stone. The artificial lakes surrounding the countryside property guarantee eco-friendly irrigation of the golf courses, vineyards and olive groves. As for the agricultural production of fine wines and extra virgin olive oil here, it’s been totally organic since 2016.
