Overview

Top flight golf, luxury lodgings, a beautiful natural setting - historic Fancourt will leave you in love with South Africa.

Enjoy a Cobb Salad overlooking the 18th hole.
Rising up from behind Fancourt's elegant Manor House, the green Outeniqua Mountains are unspeakably gorgeous - just as they were when the first European settlers arrived here in the 1800's. You'll have lots of time to admire their velvety peaks from the Montagu Golf Course, which is right next to your colonial-style Resort. It's one of three championship courses on the property, among them the Gary Player-designed Links.

Guests of 115-room-and-suite Fancourt are also spoiled for dining choices. Henry Whites serves innovative and progressive cuisine while La Cantina specializes in Mediterranean fare. Want something lighter? The Morning Glory is located next to the tranquil spa, whose treatments range from hydrotherapy to hot-stone massage.

This is one of the most beautiful regions of South Africa, so ask about day trips. You could find yourself splashing in the nearby Indian Ocean, or sampling Shiraz at a mountain winery.
