Overview

On France's rue Duphot, the elegant and forever fashionable spirit of Paris is evident at Le Burgundy, a boutique hotel that opts to whisper its charms as opposed to shouting them from the rooftops.

Take a dip in the indoor pool, which offers color therapy.
Paris is well-known for its fashion, romance, song, cuisine, and appreciation for the arts. What outsiders sometimes miss, though, is the grace and balance its residents and purveyors exude when displaying them to the world. This display is very evident at Le Burgundy, a virtual case study in what makes Paris great.

Firstly, the arts: Le Burgundy honors them by way of Guy de Rougemont's marble puzzle sculpture in the front lobby. And one cannot over look the culinary arts, which get their fair share of exposure at the Restaurant and Winter Garden, where Parisian classics are prepared with a creative spirit.

Architecture and interior design can be experienced in any room or suite, where classical lines add drama among various brightly-colored fabrics, flower arrangements, and artworks.

Paris and its residents always strive to look their best, and guests of Le Burgundy will have every opportunity to follow suit at the Spa & Fitness Club. Swim, sweat, steam, soak, or limber your way to a more graceful and glamorous you.

Paris Perfection

I really do not know how a hotel, it's staff and it's food could be better than Le Burgundy.
From the moment we arrived until our departure we were treated like royalty.
The location is within walking distance to everything. The room was delightful and large by Paris standards. The cuisine was perfection.
We found the little gym and amazing pool helped to dispel our jet lag instantly.
But most important was the staff. Everyone, from the doormen, reception, wait staff, chamber maid were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The concierge restaurant commendations were so wonderful, not tourist traps.
We almost had a disaster as the taxis went on strike the day of our departure. We had no idea and when we asked the bellman to get a taxi to the airport he immediately went into OMG what can we do mode!
He phoned down to reception and by the time we arrived there the Amazing Concierge had arranged a private car to the airport, not easy to do at the very last moment.
We made our flight thanks to them.
I will always return to Le Burgundy when in Paris

Enjoyable family visit

Clean rooms, good service. Saint Honore suite a good size for one child & one baby. Unfortunately, the hotel only offers a bar fridge which wasn't cold enough to store milk for baby. Needed to courier milk down to fridge in restaurant kitchen whenever needed, but staff very accommodating of this. A better/real fridge in suite would have made a world of a difference. Also, poor seal of shower door allowed water to leak leading to paint chipping on lower bathroom wall near shower. Food selection for lunch & dinner somewhat limited for young children. Perhaps expand the snack menu in the bar? Great pool.

Cozy & luxurious

Excellent location, great staff, and beautifully designed interiors. More could be done in the food & beverage department however; the breakfast buffet was disappointing.

La Burgundy in November

When people asked about our Paris trip, I tell them that it was cold, rainy and expensive and it was PERFECT. And Le Burgundy helped with that. My wife and I received a very nice room, which was pretty large by Paris standards. I'm not sure of the type of the room but it was very, very nice. The room was one of the best rooms we have stayed in and we have stayed in many in the world. When we first arrived, a birthday/anniversary cake was in our room. That was a very nice touch. Service is a priority at the hotel and we saw this at the door, front desk, dinning room and the bar. The only negative was the fragrance in the lobby that was a little strong for our taste. But, other than that, it was perfect which made our Paris experience the same.

Very nice boutique hotel

The hotel is very nice, small but elegant. The staff is always helpful and polite. The concierge helped us with our plane reservation and confirming the restaurant reservations that we had.
The room is quite small, it's expected in Paris. The bed is very very comfortable.
The hotel is also in a dream location and on a quiet street.
The only thing that I could say was not expected is that our reservation was made with the VISA benefits and they did not honor any one of them. We didn't mention anything, but next on our trip we went to the Mandarin Oriental in Prague wich had the same benefits, and they honored every one of them without even having to say anything.
So at the end of the stay we decided to pay with american express instead.

It's a pity

Nice and well located place, good food, but unfortunatelly it's personnel Who attend the guests mainly on the front desk is not skilled so the service is suffered, it's a pity!

Our Stay at Le Burgundy

We thought Le Burgundy was impeccably presented and the rooms are beautiful and extremely clean.

The area that the Hotel is in is perfect and very central to all the main haunts that we wanted to visit.

We did request a late check-out though (where even 15min-30mins would have been beneficial) but this was not allowed. This would have helped us out very much so because we were flying out of Paris that day and needed to be organised etc and wanted to enjoy the breakfast downstairs.

The breakfast was lovely however we found it very strange that eggs needed to be ordered seperately from the contintental breakfast and were an additional cost. Perhaps another breakfast package cost could be developed which includes the continitental?

There seemed to be alot of staff who rather than act like friendly customer service were more like bodyguards. This could have been because they were so busy though?

All in all we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the delgihtful room we were in and the proximity to all the places we wanted to visit.

Thank you

Amazing hotel where you feel like you are coming home when you walk through the front doors

Wow! We just loved this delightful little gem of a hotel!
The staff did everything to make us happy. They were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay with them a wonderful dream of a vacation.
The hotel itself is adorable, very sophisticated and elegant all at once.
The room was lovely and the linens were to die for!
The food was just too delicious and the service amazing.
We enjoyed the tiny gym which was sufficient, and the pool was something out of a dream.
Excellent massages destroyed our jet lag.
The location is perfect for walking everywhere.

We can not wait to return to our home away in Paris.

fantastic

ridiculously perfect location only made better by an extremely high level of service and courteous staff. now my home base in Paris for all future trips.
