New York, New York… a place where travelers encounter limitless options, fantastic sights and sounds, and a luxury hotel that will blow your socks off: Mondrian Soho.

Let your imagination pop at Mister H, where 1930s Shanghai meets modern day New York in an intimate speakeasy setting.
Always astounded by how friendly people are in a place as infamous as New York City, you thank your cab driver and step inside Mondrian Soho, your “home away from home” for the next week or so.

But this is no ordinary home away from home. This “home” resides in a perfect location, offers views of downtown Manhattan, is graciously glamorous, perfectly designed and appointed, and obviously a magnet for frivolity and fun. Yet the peaceful atmosphere that welcomes you – perhaps enhanced by the beautiful blues dominating its interior – promises you a stay that treats guests to the best of both worlds.

Imperial No. Nine is Mondrian Soho’s effortlessly cool restaurant. Not only is the food fantastic and the ambiance one that only a hip hotspot can attain, but the chef serves up sustainable seafood, a glass sculpture created by an acclaimed artist graces the center of the room, and a selection of handcrafted cocktails pleases even the most demanding palate.

Nice hotel in Soho

The hotel is very well located at soho the setting is very nice and well decorated, we had a good time.

Hip hotel!

My first time staying in Soho, I loved it! The restaurant is super cool and the hotel very modern and new.
The location is perfect .
The only thing I would change is the variety in the restaurant menu because the quality if the food is good.

Amazing location and facilities

Soho is my favorite place in Manhattan! Always wished to stay in a hotel there and enjoy its sorroundings. Mondrian honors its neighborhood. It's as cool, as young and as trendy as Soho!!! Loved my stay there! And I'll come back!

Great hotel

Nice room, beautiful restaurant. Service was very good.

great hotel in Soho

Loved everything about this hotel: the iPads, the hip decor, the locarion, the attractive doormen and concierges, the cool bar, delicious restaurant... And the hilarious items for sale in the minibar (personal massage device anyone?). Ignore the other complaints: the rooms are the appropriate size for New York.

Loved it!

The hotel was beautiful, service was great, and we were very happy with our stay

Simply stunning!

The Mondrian Soho is beautifully decorated and rooms on the higher floors give you a fantastic view of the Manhattan sky line!

The Atrium restaurant is stunning with fabulous food and cocktails!

Better than the professional pictures...

My husband and I made a brief stop in NYC, and were looking for a romantic boutique hotel. The Mondrian Soho was the perfect choice.
Crispy clean white and blue rooms, amazing decor in white and blue all over the hotel, and the view from our corner room was spectacular. We arrived at night and decided to keep our curtains open while we enjoyed our night cap. During the weekend, there was hardly any traffic, thus we were able to get around really easily ie 10 minutes from the park, 10 minutes from Penn Station and there were so many hotels and shops all around the neighbourhood.
Only gripe was we never knew the drinking water on the tables in the room is for sale.... as we never drink tap water while travelling.
We will definately consider this hotel in our next trip to the big apple.

The hotel is new. The décor is reasonable. But it does not achieve an excellent standard of service. We had a suite and there were 2 major issues regarding its architecture: (i) although the disposition of the bathroom may be considered cool, it was just not practical at all (the sink was extremely small and there was no space for any of our things); and (ii) I have had a bad experiences with blinds versus morning sunlight with other Kiwi hotels. At The Tides in Miami, they actually installed a new blind in my room within a few minutes (while was by the pool whith a complementary drink) to make my room very nice and dark (this hotel is great!); and (ii) at Le Place d'Armes in Montreal the didn’t do anything (I left the hotel). At the Mondrian, when I told I could not sleep with sunlight on my face, they offered sleeping masks for 30 something dollars. That is an example of the sort of things the hotel lacks. They solved my problem in a disappointingly way. In other words, service is average. It’s not a bad hotel (it is really not), but if you are used with a standard of hotels (specially with the Kiwi standard), the hotel may be a disappointment. I would recommend for people looking for budget hotels in a cool location. I have to say the location is great (if you are not looking for the main touristic attractions).
