The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is a private resort in the exclusive area of Tenerife (the largest of the seven island that make up the Canary Islands). Known throughout the world as the Island of Eternal Spring, Tenerife enjoys more sunshine than any other region of Spain, and the The Ritz-Carlton, Abama is spread deliciously along a private cliff top area above the Atlantic Ocean to take full advantage of the sublime weather.

It's time to eat - head to one of the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurants. Rooted in Basque cooking, M.B offers two signature tasting journeys - The Great Classics and The Great Tasting Menu - that includes a collection of chef choices highlighting a distinct Spanish cuisine. Or try Kabuki, which adapts traditional Japanese cuisine to the flavours of the western palate. There is something for everyone with eight restuarants to choose from.

Its stacked-block architecture is elemental - designed to incorporate the natural beauty of the surroundings. Earth-colored walls, volcanic landscapes and simple water features invoke a feeling of well-being and rejuvenation. The hotel's spa facilities are world-class, incorporating the renowned traditions of Thailand with the modern design elements of London. The Dave Thomas designed golf course offers such spectacular views of lush Palm trees against a crystal blue ocean, that for Abama's guests, golf is as much a spectator sport as it is a challenging game.
