Fresh Picks: Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto

- Joy Pecknold, Passport blog editor

Fresh Picks features the latest luxury properties admitted into the Kiwi Collection. This week, we take the elevator up Toronto’s new Trump International Hotel & Tower.

Where: Aptly placed at the corner of Bay and Adelaide Street, it’s in the beating heart of Toronto’s financial district (count on Donald to follow the money). But the action isn’t limited to the nearby Toronto Stock Exchange. There’s baseball and rock shows at the Rogers Centre; basketball, hockey and more music at the Air Canada Centre; and, a bird’s eye view of the city from the CN Tower.

What: STOCK restaurant and bar on the 31st floor, saltwater lap pool on the 32nd floor, and the Quartz Crystal Spa taking up 15,000 square feet on both those floors. The 261 guest rooms and suites are all cast in a rich palette inspired by champagne and caviar (but, of course).

Who: CEOs, CFOs, and all the business types who hope to rub shoulders with them in SUITS lobby lounge.

Why: Here, VIP is on a whole other level. If you don’t want to tote luggage or can’t be bothered to bring your own business stationary, Trump Attaché service to the rescue!
