It’s is really cool how the types of market found in each city is reflective of it’s culture, lifestyle and values. I really want to visit El Rastro in Madrid with all the antique musical instruments. What a great souvenir!
Queen St. Market in Melbourne, Australia
Tons of fruit and vegetable stands, street vendors, live music, and street restaurants. Great shopping too!
While all of Goa, India, is pretty much an ideal marketplace for tourists, I found Panaji (or panjim as its called by locals) to have the most eclectic amounts of well, everything; from foods to clothes to artwork. it was beautiful!
