Amanusa has 35 thatch-roof suites scattered amid leafy greenery. There's no shortage of places to put your feet up, or cuddle with someone special, between the canopied day bed and your private outdoor garden and terrace. Lounging is also encouraged around the pool and, of course, down at the Beach Club.

Speaking of which, that's the place to go to relax, drink, and dine. And we're not just talking burgers and mojitos. Get romantic with a candle-lit barbecue, or take your breakfast in a private bale as the sun rises. The coral reef offshore keeps the waters calm, and also attracts countless colorful tropical fish, so pack your snorkels or scuba gear.

Amanusa is on the island of Bali, Indonesia. Lush tropical greenery covers the islands, and a ring of beautiful white-sand beaches surrounds it. Various towns, both touristy and traditional dot the island. You can find solitude easily, but if you're looking for nightclubs and shopping, they can be found just a few minutes away from the resort. Amanusa is about 15 minutes by car to the airport. Transfers are complimentary for guests.
