Luckily, these clubs are now ubiquitous, so finding a suitably impressive one is easier than ever. Read on as we take a look at some of the more spectacular options out there.
Mandapa, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve
Located outside the main resort, Mandapa Camp isn’t just a fun diversion for children; it’s also an educational journey through the enchanting land of Ubud. The diverse collection of activities is built on four pillars—water, land, environmental responsibility and culture—and these are represented through yoga, dance fit, rock painting and shadow puppet making.
Alva Park goes a step beyond just featuring a kids’ club, it also contains a charming two-bedroom Children’s Kingdom Suite. Stepping into this suite transports children to a magic world, with an enormous doll’s house, electric train sets, video games, and even a library competing for their attention span. The quiet, residential location of Alva Park also ensures a peaceful night’s slumber for every member of the family.

The immersive Acquamarine program provides a fun opportunity for children to learn the mysteries of the undersea world. Each day takes kids to a different part of the ocean, touching on the arctic, coral reefs, whales, sea lions and much more. Children 5 to 12 years of age are welcome, and activities are hosted in the hotel’s bespoke Children’s Center.

The charming Pineapple Kids Club caters to 3 to 6 year-olds, promoting fun and education through a slew of activities. For older kids, the 7-Up Club engages with outdoor fun and games, contests and endless creativity.
Keeping older children entertained on vacation has long been a challenge, but it’s one Anassa passes with flying colors thanks to the presence of Crew. Designed for children ages 11 and up, Crew is an 18-hour tailored program spread over six days. Activities make use of the great outdoors, speaking to kids’ sense of adventure with tasks like sailing, stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking. For younger kids, Anassa features four other clubs broken down by age group.
The St. Regis Mauritius Resort
At The St. Regis Mauritius Resort, young guests are treated to an exciting and relaxing vacation of their own. The Kite Flyer’s Club welcomes children ages 4 to 12, holding their interest with nature walks, crab hunting, glass-bottom boat trips and more. Offering a wildly different experience than the previous hotels on the list, The Ranch at Rock Creek’s Little Grizzles Kids Club focuses on ranch life. Children ages 4 to 12 immerse themselves in cowboy culture, learning about life on the frontier of the Wild West. Typical itineraries include trips to the barn to learn about farm animals, tips on how to lasso properly or identifying trout by the banks of Rock Creek.
Promising a, pardon the pun, Eau-some experience for children of all ages, Eau Palm Beach features two different kids’ clubs to hold little VIPs in thrall. For younger kids, the delightfully named Aquanuts invites visitors to explore an underwater wonderland where pirates and mermaids are regular visitors. While Coast offers a hipper alternative for older kids, with surfing, DJ lessons and GoPro camera sessions keeping them active and entertained.
Given the intimate size of Kasbah Tamadot there’s no set program for kids. Instead, bespoke activities take place each day, tailored specifically for the children taking part. Activities include a visit with the hotel’s resident mules (Parmesan and Paprika), a Moroccan treasure hunt, nature walks and cooking classes.
