There is no lack of accolade-laden restaurants within our collection of hotels, but there are some properties that take it to the next level with a scenic feast for the eyes to accompany the meal. Herein, we dish up hotels serving dinner with a view.

Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa

Each of the three restaurants at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa is unique, but Sirena and Rima take you to elevated heights. Sirena serves up market fresh seafood cliffside over crystal waters, while Rima, under the supervision of Chef Omar Ugoletti, dishes up classic Italian and world cuisine amongst the tree tops. After dinner, a cabana at Solana offers the perfect vantage point for an island sunset.

Cliff House Hotel, Ireland

The Michelin-starred House Restaurant at Cliff House Hotel attracts foodies from all over the world to the seaside village of Ardmore. Simple and unpretentious, Chef Martijn Kajuiter’s menu sources as many local ingredients as possible from the bounty of Waterford, Cork and the Irish Sea, while the hotel’s cliffside location celebrates the beauty of the Atlantic.

Casa Angelina, Amalfi Coast

Perched on a cliff over the Mediterranean, Casa Angelina’s minimalistic aesthetic is designed to bring out the intoxicating hues of the Amalfi Coast. Translating to “a floor in the sky,” Un Piano Nel Cielo is its rooftop restaurant with wall-to-wall windows to ensure views of the sea and sky whether dining al fresco or not. Guests who opt for the Our Chef for You dining experience can taste Chef Vincenzo Vanacore’s ultra-regional menu focusing on rare dishes of the Campania region.

The Lodge at Torrey Pines, California

Catering to both golfers and leisure travelers, the renowned Torrey Pines Golf Course and world-class Lodge at Torrey Pines is a short drive from San Diego. Days here end at one of two restaurants, including the resort’s signature A.R. Valentien where regional Californian cuisine is served in an elegant, timbered indoor-outdoor room by the 18^th hole.

Alila Jabal Akhdar, Oman

Two thousand metres above sea level in the Al Hajar Mountains, Alila Jabal Akhdar’s Juniper Restaurant – named after the trees that grow in the highlands of Oman – has a menu inspired by the golden age of Arabic cuisine. Here, diners take a culinary journey through the trade routes that stretched from the Middle East to the Mediterranean.

Banyan Tree Maldives Vabbinfaru

Maldives is famous for magnificent views of the Indian Ocean and the Banyan Tree is no exception with its open-air dining at every venue. Ilaafathi takes full advantage of the tropical setting, allowing guests to dine with toes in the sand under an alang-alang roof. At the starlit Naiboli Bar, a Bodu Beru drumming performance mesmerizes on Friday evenings. And for that extra touch of romance, private dinners can be arranged anywhere, such as a secluded sand bank at sunset.

Château Eza, Côte d’Azur

The South of France calls for sparkling views, and the 400-year-old Château Eza, tucked away in one of the most enchanting locations on the French Riviera, does not disappoint.
