The Byblos Hotel, a hedonist’s playground that entertained Princess Diana, The Rolling Stones and other icons through the 80s and 90s, has transformed into La Zambra. Completely refurbished, the hotel retains its rebellious nature but cloaks it in a refreshing bohemian-inspired palette for the next generation.

Landing in the heart of the Golden Mile, Thompson Madrid is the brand’s first foray into Spain and it’s a grand entrance. Its 175 rooms are richly appointed in leather, marble and works by local artists. There are three dining venues lead by culinary rebel chef Nino Redruello, including hidden piano bar Hijos de Tomas and rooftop resto-bar Tama. Oh, and there’s an irresistible pool on that rooftop too.
