Accommodations

A relaxing atmosphere welcomes guests to each of the 25 rooms and suites at Son Julia. These accommodations are broken into five categories, ranging from a Superior Room to the spectacular Grand Suite. No matter which category guests choose, amenities like marble bathrooms, air conditioning and flat-screen TVs come standard. An Arabic motif permeates the hotel, and it’s perhaps most apparent in the 300-year-old gardens that feature two outdoor pools and palm trees. One of the pools contains an adults-only area for an added boost of peace and quiet.

Dining at Son Julia

Chef Isaac Gonzalez Nieto helms Son Julia’s gourmet dining establishment, Las Bovedas Restaurant. Whether choosing to dine in the refined setting of the restaurant or al fresco on the terrace, guests can expect market fresh Mediterranean dishes with Asian flourishes. A generous wine list provides the perfect sidekick for any dining choice, and Son Julia’s own in-house Chapren vintage is one of the offerings. On several nights per week, dinnertime conversations on the terrace take place against a backdrop of live jazz or Spanish guitar.

Vineyards

Mallorca may not be widely known for wine producing, but it’s a tradition that dates back 2,000 years on the island. Over 300 different wines from 60 different cellars are currently being produced, and Son Julia’s own vineyards produce a light, fruity white wine called Chapren. Oenophiles looking to immerse themselves in the wine culture of Mallorca can enjoy tours of the hotel’s own cellar or one of the many local vineyards.
