We rate all our hotels, resorts, and lodges using our own bespoke grading system. We'll only invite a property into our collection once it's been assessed by one of our specialists. If it doesn't impress us, it doesn't make the cut.

A short jaunt along the Adriatic Coast from Venice, Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa is rewriting the book on Italian beachside living.
Long one of Italy's best-kept secrets, savvy travelers have taken note of Jesolo's penchant for "La Dolce Vita". This beachfront town is known for its pristine stretch of golden sands, as well as close proximity to Venice (without all the associated baggage). Almar Jesolo resides waterfront in the eastern part of town, a short stroll to some of the most glamorous bars and clubs on Italy's Adriatic Coast.
A hip and cosmopolitan vibe permeates across the 195 guest accommodations at Almar Jesolo. All feature a roomy balcony with sea or garden views, and off-white leather sofas that beckon tired backsides to come take a load off. The resort invites poolside lounging and frolicking with the presence of three adjoining pools, each set at different temperatures and all surrounded by loungers. If a more natural approach to sunbathing is desired, take to the resort's private beach.
Relaxation in such vivacious surrounds tends to come easy, but if a little boost is needed, Almar Jesolo's world class spa is on hand to assist.
