COMO Cocoa Island is an idyllic private island resort that restores the spirit with clean, modern design, and stunning natural beauty.
COMO Cocoa Island, although small even by Maldivian standards, has found a creative method of extending its powder sand shores. A string of 33 Dhonis attached by wooden docks reach out from the island, forming a ring of romantic rooms and suites neither on land or water, but somewhere in between.
Each Dhoni is perfectly understated to compliment the outdoor environment while providing internal contrast with white walls and linens that glow against rich, mahogany wood floors and curving modern furniture. Bright green palm fronds peak into open-air lounges and colorful textiles rise high as eye-catching headboards.
Being that you're on a boat, why not get into the water? Coral reefs are serious business here, offering some of the world's most amazing views. Later, enjoy the soft evening glow of Ufaa (meaning "happy" in Maldivian) to enjoy rich Malabar Coast cuisine as you watch the ocean turn a deep purple against a setting sun.
