How do we rate a property?
We rate all our hotels, resorts, and lodges using our own bespoke grading system. We'll only invite a property into our collection once it's been assessed by one of our specialists. If it doesn't impress us, it doesn't make the cut.
From the quality of the food served in the restaurant to the amenities offered in each bedroom, we carefully rate each property to make sure it meets our high expectations.

Dating back almost a century, the Gran Hotel Miramar is a beautiful building with a rich history. After serving as a field hospital in the Thirties during the Spanish Civil War, the palatial building welcomed illustrious guests from the European nobility and Spanish high society. Many famous names have stayed here over the years, including Elizabeth Taylor, Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway.
The property's original grandeur lives on in the traditional decor found throughout the hotel, while dazzling white spaces bring to mind a more laid-back, modern vibe.
