How do we rate a property?
We rate all our hotels, resorts, and lodges using our own bespoke grading system. We'll only invite a property into our collection once it's been assessed by one of our specialists. If it doesn't impress us, it doesn't make the cut.
From the quality of the food served in the restaurant to the amenities offered in each bedroom, we carefully rate each property to make sure it meets our high expectations.

One can imagine the attraction to the picturesque Lake Maggiore and Borromeo Islands felt by Villa e Palazzo's first owner, the Admiral of the Italian Navy Francesco Capece. His lovingly constructed private family home has since been renovated and restored to make the ideal weekend getaway for tourists and Italian locals alike.
Antique furniture, stucco, chandeliers, and precious wallpapers line the accommodations of Villa e Palazzo Aminta Beauty and Spa. The Eastern-influenced Venetian style has been maintained with small upgrades like goose down feather beds, Jacuzzis, high-speed Internet, and Acqua di Parma bath amenities. Accommodations feature lovely views of the park and lake, where Villa e Palazzo Aminta Beauty and Spa guests enjoy water skiing, swimming, and sun bathing on the hotel's private beach.
