Les Sources de Caudalie is a tranquil oasis of calm. Known for its Vinotherapy Spa and treatments using grape oils and wine extracts, the French palace itself stretches over five buildings on the Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte estate.

Relax in one of the individually appointed rooms or suites, which tastefully blend antique furnishings with more modern comforts. If you're feeling particularly indulgent, book the spacious L’Ile aux Oiseaux Signature Suite, which comes complete with Lebanese craftsmanship, a collection of coloured nargiles and pillows with fabric reminiscent of Eastern silks.

The estate grounds contain a three-hole golf course, outdoor Jacuzzi, and swimming pool, laid out around a lake and surrounded by the vineyards and wineries of Bordeaux.

Les Sources de Caudalie - the word "caudalie" refers to the pleasant afterglow of wine - houses a magnificent wine cellar and first-class kitchen. La Grande Vigne restaurant offers a blend of classic haute cuisine and more modern dishes for the gastronomically adventurous.
