We rate all our hotels, resorts, and lodges using our own bespoke grading system. We'll only invite a property into our collection once it's been assessed by one of our specialists. If it doesn't impress us, it doesn't make the cut.

Twenty years after the opening of Les Sources de Caudalie in the Bordeaux vineyards, owners Alice and Jerome Tourbier are opening a new vineyard-based spa hotel in the Loire Valley vineyards. Surrounded by acres upon acres of bucolic countryside, Les Sources de Cheverny is composed of a historic château, ancient farmhouses, new wooden houses and an old-style winery.
The rooms and suites feature all the warmth and the character of a country family home, with furnishings from antique markets, beautiful fabrics and noble materials. Cocoon yourself in their unique charm, enjoying the delicate and peaceful atmosphere.
There is plenty to discover on the property grounds. Unwind with a grape-based treatment at the vino-therapy spa, or explore the forest paths on foot or by bike. After working up an appetite, head to Le Favori gastronomic restaurant or the Auberge for generous dishes in a welcoming environment. And at Wine Bar: Le Romorantin, you can enjoy a glass of wine while eating tapas and sampling local products, or even take a wine tasting workshop. Deeply rooted in nature, the hotel is committed to only sourcing seasonal food from local producers.
