Nayara Alto Atacama also offers several dining options, each deeply rooted in its desert surroundings. Ckelar Restaurant revels in a menu of North Chilean food, with many of the ingredients taken from the hotel’s own Andean Garden. Outside, the Atacamenian Quincho is an outdoor barbecue pavilion where guests can try different cuts of meat, corn and potatoes in a traditional South American manner. This being Chile, there’s also hundreds of Sommelier selected wines to choose from too.

This desert oasis is also home to a restorative spa, where guests can relax and disconnect from the world in the hands of expert practitioners. At Puri Spa, treatments are grouped according to the four ancestral elements – fire, water, earth, and air. Sounds, aromas, and local artisanal organic products are used to restore and rejuvenate tired bodies and minds, leaving guests transformed. There’s also a dry sauna, wet sauna, and outdoor treatment space.
