We rate all our hotels, resorts, and lodges using our own bespoke grading system. We'll only invite a property into our collection once it's been assessed by one of our specialists. If it doesn't impress us, it doesn't make the cut.

Home to the world's highest concentration of tropical plants and wildlife, Arenal Volcano National Park now also hosts an adults-only, ultra-exclusive boutique lodge in the shape of Nayara Springs.
It doesn't take long upon arriving at Nayara Springs for a sense of satisfaction to set in regarding one's decision. The hotel sits upon an unspoilt mountain surrounded by the lush vegetation of Costa Rica's pristine rainforest.
