Tucked between the jungle and the Caribbean, adults-only Our Habitas Tulum feels like a hidden passage—palms overhead, sand underfoot, and the warm sea just beyond.

Set on a quieter stretch of Tulum’s beach road, Our Habitas Tulum is a barefoot-style property designed for connection—with nature, with community, and with yourself. Once inside, the jungle closes around you, and the sound of the ocean becomes the soundtrack. The property’s design is rooted in sustainability, and the atmosphere is led by experience.

The rooms are arranged between palm forest and beach. Some face the sea, others are hidden deep in green. All are built with canvas and wood, elevated slightly on platforms, with outdoor rain showers, handcrafted furniture, and woven textures. There’s no television and no need for one either.

Moro, the on-site restaurant, is one of the most inviting in Tulum, with an open-air layout that’s moodily lit and wrapped in the scent and smoke of its open kitchen. The food is coastal and Mediterranean: grilled fish, roasted vegetables, house-made flatbreads and spiced lamb. There’s a bar near the beach, too, where mezcal is poured slowly and the music stays low enough to let the sound of the waves through.

Daily yoga and breathwork take place in the jungle shala. Temazcal ceremonies happen in a clay dome near the back of the property. There’s a small outdoor gym for movement, but guests often trade reps for ocean swims and barefoot runs through the palms.

The calendar here includes live music under the stars, talks by visiting artists and wellness practitioners and full-moon rituals that pull locals and travelers alike into a shared space.

As the fire pit flickers at night and the sea hums in the background, it becomes clear—Our Habitas Tulum isn’t just about where you stay. It’s about how you feel while you’re there. Grounded, open, and quietly in tune with the elements that first drew you in.
