Guests here are ensconced in the lap of luxury, but it’s a very different type of luxury than one might expect. There’s no room service, televisions or other digital distractions at this remarkable hotel. Instead, guests are encouraged to connect with the rich nature around them through activities like stargazing, nature walks, and excursions to see rare butterflies.

Set on a previously empty 5.5-acre desert plot, this visually striking property consists of a series of brutalist-inspired concrete structures that blend seamlessly into their sandy natural surroundings. Upon arrival, the hotel feels like an oasis amid the sleepy farming community of Todos Santos thanks to a 100,000-square-foot botanical garden.

There are just 41 suites to choose from, each clad in bare concrete with beautiful modern furnishings. Get a birds-eye-view from the Cacti View Sky Suite, or, make yourself at home in the Garden Suite with soaking tub that opens to a cacti-filled landscape. Each comes with an outdoor “Star Net” for gazing up at the heavens.
