Less a hotel than an awe-inspiring architectural project, Paradero Todos Santos – Exclusive Experiences offers guests a truly unique way to experience the beauty, culture and wonder of Baja California through award-winning design, unforgettable dining and life-changing experiences.
Set far from the flashy resorts of Cabo San Lucas, Paradero Todos Santos – Exclusive Experiences is a hotel unlike any other. Guests here are ensconced in the lap of luxury, but it’s a very different type of luxury than one might expect. There’s no room service, televisions or other digital distractions at this remarkable hotel. Instead, guests are encouraged to connect with the rich nature around them through activities like stargazing, nature walks, and excursions to see rare butterflies.
Set on a previously empty 5.5-acre desert plot, this visually striking property consists of a series of brutalist-inspired concrete structures that blend seamlessly into their sandy natural surroundings. Upon arrival, the hotel feels like an oasis amid the sleepy farming community of Todos Santos thanks to a 100,000-square-foot botanical garden.
There are just 41 suites to choose from, each clad in bare concrete with beautiful modern furnishings. Get a birds-eye-view from the Cacti View Sky Suite, or, make yourself at home in the Garden Suite with soaking tub that opens to a cacti-filled landscape. Each comes with an outdoor “Star Net” for gazing up at the heavens.
Paradero Todos Santos is an experience inclusive resort, meaning guest can choose from a communal activity each day at no extra cost. Choose from morning yoga, gardening or farming lessons, group hikes, fitness classes, or even guided discussions on landscaping and architecture.
The hotel’s farm-to-table dining concept is equally communal, bringing guests together to watch dinner being prepared in a delightfully theatrical manner. Take a seat in front of the open-fire kitchen, featuring a traditional Oaxacan clay oven, and watch as fresh farm produce and freshly caught fish are turned into delicacies. Afterwards, retire to the Pericue Bar and enjoy a custom cocktail.
Finally, guests at Paradero Todos Santos can embark upon a personal wellness journey at the Ojo de Agua Spa. Located below ground, this sunken oasis offers a range of water-based therapies and Mexican healing traditions delivered by expert practitioners.
