Marking the first new hotel development in Gstaad for over 100-years, The Alpina Gstaad affords guests an opportunity to explore this idyllic Swiss mountain town of just 3,500 residents.
Time seems to have stood still in Gstaad. This tiny Swiss town is home to more cows than people, something borne out by the ample amounts of farmland in the area. Stiff restrictions on development have seen the town change little over the last 100-years, with the development of Alpina Gstaad taking over 20-years to come to fruition.
Thankfully, the hotel proved worth the wait, decorated lovingly with a hand-selected art collection, recovered wood interiors and state-of-the-art lighting systems. 25 rooms and 31 suites are housed within, each boasting its own balcony and a range of modern amenities and flourishes. Three restaurants are on-hand to sate the tastebuds of hungry visitors. Sommet provides an all-day dining venue, Megu is the town's first genuine Japanese restaurant, while Stubli is the destination of choice for classic Swiss dining staples like rosti and fondue.
In winter, skiing is the main attraction and The Alpina Gstaad offers close proximity to over 250 kilometers of pistes, 62 lifts, as well as a high-altitude glacier. In summer, the town comes alive with outdoor sports enthusiasts looking to experience world-class hiking and mountain biking. Coupled with the opulent Six Senses Spa that's on-site, it won't be long until Alpina Gstaad is no longer a secret for discerning travelers.

Child policy:Kindly note that children up to 3 years old stay for free. For children 4 to 11 years old, there will be a charge of 110CHF per night. Children 12 years old+, there will be a charge of 210CHF per night. This supplement includes breakfast.
Pet policy:Pets are allowed. Dogs are not allowed in the restuarants or spa. Dogs are accepted in our Alpina Lounge & Bar and the terrace. Guests are required to be in the room when any member of the Hotel staff is in the room while the dog is present. Additional cleaning or repairs required, even if discovered after departure from the Hotel, are charged on the guest account. As per law, dog owners are required to have valid liability insurance, covering damage to the amount of CHF 3M.
