How do we rate a property?
We rate all our hotels, resorts, and lodges using our own bespoke grading system. We'll only invite a property into our collection once it's been assessed by one of our specialists. If it doesn't impress us, it doesn't make the cut.
From the quality of the food served in the restaurant to the amenities offered in each bedroom, we carefully rate each property to make sure it meets our high expectations.

Housed within a 16th century palace, The One Palácio da Anunciada mixes historic architecture with modern amenities and facilities. Contemporary interior design, lovely French-style gardens and a tranquil spa ensure that guests will have an unforgettable experience at this Lisbon boutique hotel.
Cozy and bright, the 83 guest rooms boast a sophisticated interior design creating an atmosphere of contemporary luxury featuring neutral colours, fine materials and top-quality textures. In homage to Portuguese tradition, each room includes original hand-painted ceramic pieces created exclusively for the hotel, as well as unique images of the original building that take guests on a journey through the history of the palace.
Elsewhere, the restaurant offers a gourmet experience second to none.
