Anticipating your every need, Tonic Hotel is an unconventional, minimalist luxury boutique hotel just two hours from Sydney.

Just what the doctor ordered. A small boutique hotel, Tonic is far from the craziness of Sydney (but not so far you can't drive there), with panoramic views of the scenic Hunter Valley and easy access to the area's wineries.

There's no check-in or check-out. Just open the door and walk in - the fridge is full, so you've got plenty on hand to make breakfast. Your room is simple and modern, with polished concrete floors, timber decks, crisp linens, and bathrooms with heated floors. Oh, and a Grundig stereo. Because you have to have music. Two-bedroom apartments have a kitchen, lounge, and dining room, perfect for a party. Love the artwork on your wall? It's for sale.

If you're hungry, pick up cheese and paté from the Tonic deli, or maybe some curry. You'll need a full stomach before embarking on that wine tour. But save room to sample the fine cuisine from Hunter Valley's restaurants. Too much wining and dining? Unwind with an in-room massage - or an in-room massage for two.
