Located on the edge of the Pacific Rim National Park, Wickaninnish Inn brings unbridled romance to the untamed wilderness of Canada's West Coast.

You came to relax and take it easy, but you can't help adding more and more activities to your to-do list: take a float plane to Hot Springs Cove, kayak around Stubbs Island, hike through the old growth temperate rain forest, beachcomb for antique Japanese glass floats, book a hot stone massage at The Ancient Cedars Spa, longboarding... whale watching... bear watching...

Of course, it's hard to imagine leaving your suite just yet. Each of the 75 deluxe guest rooms and suites offers a fireplace, individual balcony, and deep soaker tub, and you want to put yours to good use. Before venturing outside, why not order room service — champagne and oysters — and relax in a hot bath while listening to the waves crashing on the shore below.

After a day of communing with nature, wind your way back to the Pointe Restaurant and enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean over a candlelit dinner of sustainable seafood, farm-fresh Vancouver Island produce, and the finest Pacific Northwest wines. After your meal, head out for a moonlit stroll on Chesterman beach and stop for a nightcap at the Driftwood Cafe before retiring for the night. Turns out you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow!
