How do we rate a property?
We rate all our hotels, resorts, and lodges using our own bespoke grading system. We'll only invite a property into our collection once it's been assessed by one of our specialists. If it doesn't impress us, it doesn't make the cut.
From the quality of the food served in the restaurant to the amenities offered in each bedroom, we carefully rate each property to make sure it meets our high expectations.

The epitome of rustic charm, Bedford Village Inn is a place where nature's beauty blends seamlessly with sophisticated New England style.
Formerly a working farm, the Bedford Village Inn has quite a history. Dating to Bedford’s agricultural heyday, the building has undergone careful restorations to transform it into a quaint inn and restaurant. The 10-acre estate is home to tranquil gardens with thousands of color-splashed perennials and the freshest herbs, along with a wisteria-draped walkway and several gazebos.
Each of the fourteen luxury guest suites are individually and elegantly furnished for complete comfort. Lavish touches, including spacious marble bathrooms and magnificent four-poster beds can be found in all of the suites, along with a soothing color palette of soft grays, blues and beiges.
A short walk takes you to breakfast at the Porch Dining Room or lunch on the Patio surrounded by gardens. For an elegant dinner, take your pick of three unique restaurants, including the Tavern, Corks Wine Bar or Dining Room. After indulging in these deliciously satisfying dining options, enjoy a soak in the hot tub followed by a night cap in the Lobby Bar.
