Walking into your suite, you'll be delighted by the balcony, fireplace, and window seats overlooking Vail's snow-capped peaks. Frette linens, plush terrycloth robes, and marble bathroom floors are standard luxuries at the Ritz-Carlton.

After a day on the slopes, tuck into a tantalizing meal at Spago, the resort's signature restaurant, which specializes in eclectic yet accessible cuisine, ranging from light fare such as handmade pastas to serious entrees such as pan-roasted venison filet mignon.

The Bachelor Gulch Spa is a full 21,000 sq. ft. of pampering possibilities. The 19 treatment rooms, co-ed, rock-lined grotto complete with whirlpool, and a pilates and yoga studio compete for status as the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after summer or winter's day at high altitude.
