The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is a warm and extravagant example of the modern Middle east; what life in Qatar is all about.

As with so much in today's Middle East, The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, leaves little to the imagination. An idyllic location just off the city's serene corniche, water and golf green views, and an Arabian mystique that cannot be denied.

374 rooms, including 61 suites and 42 clubrooms, all feature private balconies to spin your dreams from, hand-made Italian and Spanish furnishings, and plush bedding. Oh, by the way, this is all on a private island.

For the business traveler (and seriously, who doesn't do business in Doha?), there's more than enough to accommodate you: two ballrooms, six meeting rooms, and a video conference center are all at your beck and call.

When the deal is sealed, hit the spa, dine at any of nine dining establishments, take a dip in one of two pools - or if the deal went REALLY well - head out and hop on your yacht, moored in the 235-marina.
