Great location and hotel

We enjoyed our stay! Could provide nicer bathroom amenities (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, and lotions) for use.

Awesome Hotel

The Standard High Line is an incredible hotel in a great area. The rooms (well, at least ours) are super modern, with amazing views of the city. Will def. stay here again in the future.

Comfort, Views, Romance

Perfect Hotel for a romantic weekend. Great views of the high line, hudson and the city.

Staff alternate between being stand-offish and super friendly, but overall a great experience if you're looking for something out of the ordinary.

A good hotel to stay in NY

The hotel is good and the service was very good.

Good location in NY for clubs, food and shops

The hotel is nice, with very good service - which is not always the case in NY :) - windows of the room are floor to ceiling, nice view. In the area you have loads of clubs, food and shops.

Great views, rooms and location

Favourite place to stay in New York - great views of the city and the Hudson. Perfect for a romantic get away.

Roof top bar....awesome

The service is fabulous, rooms are basic but have fantastic views. Being a guest you have priority access to the roof top bar. What was slightly disappointing was that with the room we had booked we had "VIP" guest privileges however when we tried to get access to the club which is underneath the roof top bar we were told we had to queue up and this still didn't guarantee access. All the bars and restaurants in the hotel are excellent, great food, drinks, clean and a fun relaxed atmosphere. We were finally upgraded on our final night to a larger room (due to being a "VIP" guest which was much bigger. The area is great for shopping and eating out. Over the 5 nights we stayed (we ended up booking for 3 extra nights) we had dinner at restaurants all within 5 minutes walk from the hotel and all were amazing. Loved New York!

cool hotel, cool location, amazing view, small rooms

take a river view room in a upper floor, even though rooms are even smaller there it seems. standard grill is very good too, drinks at le bain on the rooftop btw 4 and 10, best around 6, are great for the crowd and the view

cool hotel in fun area

nice and cool hotel, very small rooms, even though we supposedly had a double upgrade through kiwi. stunning view over the hudson.

The Standard Hotel - New York

Amazing view, excellent service. just the room was not as big as we expected.

The Standard Hotel, New York

Great location and food at the Standard Grill. Rooms and bathrooms are small. Only a glass partition between shower and room. No privacy provided. Front desk personnel exuded a snooty attitude, as if to be chic, you have to be snooty. Not helpful at all. Only the porters were warm & friendly. Party hotel. Guests in the room next to us were noisy drunk on the Saturday night we were there.

Affordable and chic

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Standard in MPD. It's steps away from DVK and the subway, which makes the location highly convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. I especially enjoy the bathroom the most. The service was very friendly. I would definitely come back to The Standard. It's not even expensive. The last time I was there, they upgrade me and I got the corner room. I hope they will continue their superb service to their guests.

The Standard NY - riverGreat experience

Our stay in the Standard NY was fantastic. Even though our room could be a little bigger it was compensated by the amazing view of the Hudson River.
The employees were all very kind. Unfortunately we could not had a chance to get into the night club La Boom. Maybe next time in the Standard!!

best place in nyc

you have everything in the same place ,,,

This is one of my worst 600 USD hotel experience ever.

This is a joke. No room ready for check-in at 3 pm. Booking at the Grill confirmed - but then no reservation when arriving to the dinner. Keys not working, had to pass through reception 3 times in swim-suit to get back to my room after exercise. No newspaper. The Grill one of the noisiest places in the world. Get real.
